What to expect
As independent auditors, our goal at Hilton-Baird Audit & Survey is to understand your business and make expert recommendations regarding your facility and the collateral of your funder.
In order to achieve this, we must have access to your books, records and accounting systems, all of which will assist us in developing a picture of your business to establish how trading has been for you over the last 12 months, or since your last audit.
The process itself will involve our Business Analyst(s) looking at the audit trail behind invoices, understanding why disputes may be occurring and debts remaining unpaid, checking whether taxes and creditors have been paid as well as understanding any unusual trends in trading.
The subsequent recommendations we make in the report aim to assist both the lender and you, the client, to help you work together more effectively and improve your business’s funding. We will provide you with our conclusions and answer any queries you may have.
